About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team for a well-known client based in Bridgend. This is an ongoing role with an immediate start, offering consistent work and the opportunity to join a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle in good condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods, meeting client and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and log hours as required.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and customers.

Requirements

• Valid 7.5 tonne (C1) driving license.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Proven experience as a 7.5 tonne driver.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and geographic area of Bridgend and surrounding regions.
• Ability to work early mornings, with a start time of 6:00 AM.
• Availability to work weekends as required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
