The THOMAS Recruitment Group is currently recruiting Brazers for a leading engineering and fabrication manufacturer specializing in the global automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, and industrial sectors based in West Bromwich (B71). This is a temporary outgoing position.

Your Shifts:

• 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
• 7:30 am – 12 :30 pm on Fridays
• Monday to Friday
• Full-time

Your Pay Rate:

• £13.24 per hour ( Overtime rate over 39 hours £14.84)

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Braze mild steel and copper components using torch and induction brazing methods.
• To work with a diversity of materials including, flux paste and powder, silver, and brass brazing rods.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance
• Utilize power tools for cutting and shaping materials
• To undertake other production tasks and projects across the shop floor, according to the business's needs, whenever required.

Could this be you? The ideal candidate:

• Experience with High and Low Temperature Brazing / Silver Soldering is required.
• Competent in using hand and power tools.
• You have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• You have the flexibility to assist with business needs (e.g., the ability to work overtime).
• You can adhere to health and safety policies.
