Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking HGV Drivers to work weekends for a well-established client. We are happy to consider both Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (Category C) drivers, including newly qualified drivers looking to gain valuable experience.

This role involves multi-drop deliveries and requires a hands-on approach, as there is no driver's mate provided. Candidates must be comfortable with heavy manual handling and working independently throughout their shift.

Immediate starts are available from this weekend.

Duties

• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Drive Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles in accordance with all road traffic regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Deliver goods to a variety of locations, including rural routes and country lanes.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work independently without a driver's mate.
• Comfortable undertaking very heavy manual handling and handballing duties.
• Good geographical awareness and confidence driving on country roads and narrow lanes.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

• Class 1 Drivers - £20.00 per hour
• Class 2 Drivers - £18.00 per hour
• Weekend work every Saturday and Sunday.
• 05:00 start time.
