FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative

This role will involve shift work and will require a flexible work pattern.

You must have previous Factory experience, a flexible attitude, with a professional approach to your responsibilities with our client. You must be reliable and hard-working. This opportunity is with a fantastic employer so if you are looking for a great career opportunity we want to hear from you.

Our client operates 24/7 so shift will be 12hrs 6:00-18:00 and 18:00-6:00.

You will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Eligible to work in the UK, with all documents available
  • Reliable
  • Hard working
  • Previous experience working in a factory environment
  • Machine operative experience desirable


  • Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated location
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and ensure accurate delivery of goods
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate shipping and receiving activities
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and departure, mileage, and any issues encountered during transportation
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely manner and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or delivery capacity
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory tracking purposes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of cargo
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling equipment, such as forklift
