About the Role:

Our client, a leading company in the logistics sector, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Reach Truck Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves operating a reach truck in a busy warehouse environment, as well as performing general warehouse duties and maintaining site hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reach Truck Operation: Safely operate a reach truck to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse. Ensure that all products are stored accurately and efficiently.
• Warehouse Duties: Assist with general warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and organising inventory. Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
• Site Hygiene: Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure the warehouse and surrounding areas are kept tidy and safe.
• Manual Labour: Occasionally assist with manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving products as required.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that all tasks are performed in a safe manner.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment is essential. A valid reach truck license is required.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items when needed.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all tasks, particularly when handling stock and ensuring site hygiene.
