n exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Administrator to join a well-established team at a busy commercial vehicle depot in Rogerstone.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35 hours per week, 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking candidates with a strong service background, particularly in car/van servicing, trade counters, or other commercial service industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records within the sales and service department.
  • Ensure seamless integration between internal dealership systems and manufacturer/distributor systems.
  • Process all transactions with precision and clarity.
  • Regularly update and verify vehicle and customer records.
  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception for visitors and service clients.
  • Address customer needs while they await assistance from a Sales Executive or Service Manager.
  • Accurately record and relay messages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of outgoing sales and service correspondence.
  • Handle telephone enquiries efficiently, especially during peak periods.
  • Maintain and enhance the dealership's professional reputation.
  • Accept vehicle deliveries and perform basic damage checks.
  • Liaise with customers regarding service bookings, vehicle maintenance updates, and trade counter transactions.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • strong service background in car/van servicing, trade counters, or other commercial service industries.
  • A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience handling administrative processes and paperwork in a service-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturer systems and dealership/service documentation (experience with Kerridge or VSB is essential).
  • Experience registering vehicles using the online RAV system (AFRL).
  • A calm, organised approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A friendly yet professional approach to visitors and colleagues.
