We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients by diagnosing and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is carried out to the high standards of DAF Trucks training.
• Liaise with Shift Supervisor to ensure all jobs are completed to standard times.
• Keep the Supervisor aware of any problems encountered to receive appropriate technical support.
• Make sure customer vehicle interior is protected as work is completed.
• Ensure all job card details are entered accurately on completion and work area is cleaned.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements at all times.
• Return all workshop tooling to correct location, reporting any damage.
• Ensure you update the Supervisor on the current status of the job at the end of each shift.
• Assist with any other tasks as requested by the Service Manager

Requirements :

• Current Driving Licence - Essential

Shift and Pay

• Rotating shift pattern
• 06:00 - 14:00 - Week 1
• 14:00 - 22:00 - Week 2
• Pay £15.50 - £18.00 depending on experience
