Thomas Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Manager working for a fantastic client based in Highbridge, Somerset.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of up to 10
• Overseeing your teams performance
• Assist in training and development of your team
• Handling complaints from your staff and customers
• Meeting regularly with managers to review and analyse plans for productivity
• Inspecting equipment
• Enforcing standards and procedures
• Liaising with the sales and transport department

Desired skills:

• Good telephone manner
• Great team player
• Knowledge of the construction industry and transport regulations (training will be provided)
• Great communication skills
• 3+ years experience within a management role based in a warehouse

Essential skills:

• Full Valid UK license
• Able to use own initiative
• Problem Solver
• Able to use Microsoft and sage systems
• IOSH certificate
• IT skills

Benefits:

• Straight permanent position

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday 07:30-17:00
• Required to work 1 Saturday out of 5 on the shift 08:00-11:00

Salary:

• £40,000-£45,000 (dependant on experience)
