About the Role:

Our client, a well-established company in the logistics sector, is seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, providing an excellent pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate. The role involves unloading handball containers and assisting with general warehouse operations in a busy and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Container Unloading: Safely and efficiently unload handball containers, ensuring all goods are handled with care and stored correctly.
• Warehouse Operations: Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and organizing stock. Assist with inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Manual Handling: Engage in physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods as required.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including heavy lifting and moving goods.
• Work Ethic: A strong, proactive work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a commitment to working the specified hours consistently.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all tasks, particularly when handling stock and updating records.
