I still have questions

I still have questions

If you're currently working with us but you still have a few questions, that's ok! We hope the following FAQs help. However, if you still have questions, don't hesitate to contact our team.

This process is the same regardless of where you work with THOMAS. Please email accounts@thomasrecruitment.co.uk for any questions regarding your holidays or if you need to book a holiday.

All workers have the right under the Working Time Regulations to accrue 5.6 weeks annual leave in a leave year. THOMAS Recruitment’s leave year runs from January to December each year. You will start accruing holidays from the first day of your assignment. What you are paid when you take holidays will be dependent on your average earnings over the previous 12 weeks and therefore will fluctuate based on the assignments you worked on at the time.

You must contact our payroll department (accounts@thomasrecruitment.co.uk) regarding holiday pay to request it and please note that holidays must be taken before the end of the leave year.

You will be paid every Friday for the work you completed in the previous week. If this is your first week working with us, you'll be paid for that week at the end of your second week of work. You will always be paid directly into your bank account.

We will do our best to place you into work that suits you. However, if you're unhappy in your current role, please get in touch with the branch that you typically deal with or your THOMAS representative on-site, and they'll be more than happy to find a solution or discuss other available roles that we have.

You should expect your payslip via email by Thursday afternoon at the very latest each week. f you have any further questions on your payslip, please get in touch with your branch contact to discuss further.

Yes, we will make all necessary statutory deductions from your weekly pay. If you have any questions about your tax code, please get in touch with the HMRC directly; they are the only ones who can update this.
