Job role: Production Operator 

Location: Gilwern/Abergavenny

Hours:

Days - Monday - Friday - 6am - 2pm

Nights - Sunday - Thursday - 10pm - 6am

Afternoons - Monday - Friday - 2pm - 10pm

Salary: £12.86 Per hour

We are currently looking for a Cleanroom Operator who will be responsible for operating and monitoring printing equipment in a controlled cleanroom environment. The primary duties include feeding sheets into the printing line, catching and stacking printed sheets, and ensuring product quality and process consistency while maintaining strict cleanroom and safety standards. Experience in printing is highly desired!

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed unprinted sheets into the printing or coating equipment according to production schedules.
• Catch, inspect, and stack printed sheets, ensuring correct alignment and quality.
• Monitor equipment operation and promptly report any issues or irregularities.
• Maintain cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and contamination control.
• Conduct basic quality checks (e.g., visual inspection for defects, print alignment, ink coverage).
• Accurately record production data and material usage.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, setup, and changeovers as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and company procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Shifts
This role is based on a rotating 3 x shift pattern -

Days - Monday - Friday - 6am - 2pm

Nights - Sunday - Thursday - 10pm - 6am

Afternoons - Monday - Friday - 2pm - 10pm
