Hours: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Days regular Monday to Friday
THOMAS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Administrator on behalf of a well-established engineering business based in Blackwood.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a growing business in a role that offers long-term progression and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the purchase ledger
- Processing and reconciling banking transactions
- Sales ledger administration
- Monitoring and overseeing sales activity
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the accounts department
- Assisting with financial administration and reporting
- Providing cover during periods of annual leave
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within an accounts role
- Sage experience is essential
- Good understanding of accounting processes and procedures
- AAT qualification or equivalent is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
