Job description:

THOMAS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in the Cardiff area.

We are currently looking for Assembly Operatives to join the manufacturing team producing electronic systems. You will be assembling electronic components, devices and subsystems with sub-assembly parts supplied from company own injection mould shop.

Potential Candidates Required

Assembly Production Operatives, experience in electronics and soldering PCB wires would be beneficial. Practical experience within manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing/factory experience.

Able to follow written instructions well and when shown what to do, pass on information to colleagues.

Good understanding of written and verbal English.

Flexible in approach to work, happy to carry out any additional tasks and in-house training.

Products Manufactured, security devices, surface/flush contacts, junction boxes, panic buttons, call points, pass key switches, roller shutter and heavy-duty contacts.

We expect you to have good manual skills, dexterity and ability to work with miniature parts and components. Previous experience with soldering would be an advantage but it is not required.

Monday to Friday

08:00 - 16:30

The role:

• Assemble devices, components and sub-systems following manufacturing and production assembly procedures.
• Operate a variety of assembly equipment.
• Performing quality checks
• Full training will be provided. Opportunities for progression exist for those who show potential.

• Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate
• Pay rate £12.21
