Thomas Recruitment are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Bridgend.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position with a growing manufacturer producing high-quality mobility and healthcare equipment, including wheelchairs and specialist products.

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime paid at x1.25 after standard daily hours

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45
• Friday: 07:45 – 13:30
• Overtime available

Duties

• Assembling wheelchairs and mobility equipment on a production line.
• Using hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Following work instructions and assembly drawings to ensure products are built correctly.
• Carrying out visual quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Ensuring all products meet the company's quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.
• Working efficiently to production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area.
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written instructions and assembly drawings.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to producing high-quality work.
• Quality stamina as you will be stood up a lot
