Our client, a vibrant establishment in Newport, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Bar Staff and a Porter. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Must be fully flexible with days, evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems, and maintain accountability for all transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area, including equipment, glasses, and workstations, in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Stock Management: Monitor and replenish bar stock, including beverages, garnishes, and supplies, to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Upselling and Promotion: Promote special offers, events, and promotions to customers, and actively engage in upselling to enhance the customer experience.
• Compliance: Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies at all times.
• Organising rooms and setting tables ready for customers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
• Must be fully flexible with working hours and days
