Our client is looking for a proper sales person for this Business Development Manager role within the construction industry selling to the trade. Due to growth the business is looking for a Business Development Manager to cover clients in South Wales and Gloucestershire. This is a role where you'll spend most of your time in the field, on the road prospecting, visiting clients, and keeping close relations with key suppliers.


The role comes with a basic of circa £40,000pa, Company Car, and commission as well as pension, life insurance, employee discount, and a health & wellbeing programme.

The Role:

  1. Generating new business and growing market share with existing clients 
  2. Maintain close relationships with key suppliers
  3. Prospecting and visiting new clients
  4. Producing sales reporting
  5. Attend trade shows

About You:

  1. Sales experience in a role selling to the construction/trade industry
  2. Commercial with strong business acumen
  3. Highly motivated individual that is organised with their time
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  5. Numerate and Literate
  6. Very personable and strong presentation skills
