We are proud to be a global leader in battery manufacturing, committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining efficient and safe operations. We are now looking for dedicated Casting Machine Operators to join our Plate Department.

Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Role Overview

As a Casting Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring smooth and efficient production of high-quality components. This hands-on role requires a mechanically minded individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor two casting machines simultaneously, ensuring continuous and efficient production flow.
• Carry out routine maintenance and small part repairs to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area, following all health and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with team members to optimise processes and improve productivity.
• Complete accurate daily logs of machine performance and maintenance activities.

Who We’re Looking For

• Mechanically minded with an interest in machinery and production
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern
• Previous machine operation experience desirable, but training will be provided
