Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced, talented and passionate Chef to join their team with immediate effect.

As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high standard of food to customers. You will work closely with the kitchen team to prepare and execute menu items to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and have a genuine passion for food.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards

· Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and hygienically

· Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines

· Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

· Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods, while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency

· Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members as required

Requirements:

· Proven experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen environment

· Strong culinary skills and a creative approach to cooking

· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

· Excellent time management and organizational abilities

· Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

· Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred but not essential

· Food Hygiene Certificate required.
