Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in line with menu specifications.
• Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
• Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials.
• Managing food preparation and service during busy periods.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
• Ensuring correct food storage, stock rotation, and waste control.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen.
• Adhering to all food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
• Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Supporting with the preparation of functions, events, and golf days.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Cook in a busy kitchen.
• A passion for producing high-quality food.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety legislation.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work regular weekends is essential, as the golf club hosts weddings, functions, and events throughout the year. While you won't be required every weekend, weekend availability is a key part of the role.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential, as some shifts finish later in the evening when public transport options are limited.
