Job Overview

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 ADR Drivers to join a professional transport team based in Bridgend.

This role involves operating curtain-sided vehicles and completing deliveries safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and professionalism.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Night Shift: 06:00pm – 06:00am
• Day Shift: 06:00am - 06:00pm

Pay Rates:

• Class 1 ADR Driver:
• £18.00 per hour (Day Shift)
• £19.00 per hour (Night Shift)
• Class 1 Driver (Non-ADR):
• £16.00 per hour (Day Shift)
• £17.00 per hour (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving Class 1 curtain-sided vehicles safely and responsibly
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with schedules
• Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
• Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
• Following ADR regulations and company procedures (where applicable)
• Maintaining excellent communication with transport teams and customers
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• ADR qualification required for ADR positions
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Experience with curtain-sided trailers advantageous
• Good knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
