4 on 4 off HGV Class 1 Day Drivers

Full-Time | Permanent

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable 4 on 4 off HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to join our client's transport team. This is a steady, temp to perm position

Hours - 6am-6pm

Days - 4 on 4 off

Hourly rate - £17.93 - £20.73 per hour

Responsibilities

• Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
• Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
• Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
• Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours & WTD
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
