Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a short-term assignment based in Llantrisant. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturing business, completing local deliveries and collections while representing the company in a professional manner.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle to deliver manufactured products to customers and distribution centres.
• Completing local and regional deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Loading and unloading where required, ensuring goods are secure for transport.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintaining excellent customer service when delivering to clients.
• Complying with all DVSA regulations and company health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

What's On Offer?

• £17.59 per hour.
• Day shifts – 7:00am to 4:00pm.
• Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th August.
