Job description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up and programme machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilise hand tools for assembly and adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct materials handling tasks, including the movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling processes.
• Proficient in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for design interpretation.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
• Experience in welding is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting.
