We’re on the hunt for a Digital Marketing Executive who brings more than just experience — we want someone with a genuine passion for all things marketing and branding. This isn’t just another role. You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing and will play a key role in delivering scroll-stopping digital campaigns, keeping our website and socials looking fresh, and supporting the wider team with all things digital and design.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, who enjoys working as part of a team is keen to learn and grow.
The Team
The Digital Marketing Executive role sits within our Marketing team, part of THOMAS Recruitment wider brand made up of THOMAS Recruitment, THOMAS Professional, THOMAS Freight and HOORAY Recruitment. This role will be based in our Cardiff HQ, with occasional travel to Bristol, Cheltenham, and Blackwood. The marketing team at THOMAS is central to shaping and delivering the firm's strategy, brand and supporting the wider team with digital marketing collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Content – Manage day-to-day content updates, keeping everything accurate, on-brand, and SEO-friendly.
- Social media – Draft, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and TikTok—making sure we stay loud, relevant, and engaging.
- Campaign Support – Assist in delivering standout digital campaigns, working with internal teams to align messaging across channels.
- Analytics & Insights – Track, monitor, and report on digital performance using Google Analytics and social insights tools.
- Content Coordination – Work with colleagues across all sites to plan and publish digital content that’s on-brand and on-trend.
- Trend Spotting – Stay ahead of digital trends, bringing fresh ideas to keep our brand visible, vibrant, and one step ahead.
- Full Digital Support – Support the wider team with all things digital—from design and copywriting to pitch decks, presentations, social media presence, and hot topics in each partner’s field.
Experience and Requirements:
- You’ve got ideas — bold ones. And the skills to make them happen.
- You have a full driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel.
- You have experience using social media management tools.
- You are confident using design software such as Canva, Photoshop and CapCut.
- You live for a strong brand tone, know your way around socials, and want to help shape a growing digital voice.
- Excellent attention to detail and copywriting/editing skills.
- Ability to shoot and edit on mobile / basic mobile photography and videography skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- A passion for digital, with an interest in testing new ideas and channels.
- You’re eager to learn new skills and grow with THOMAS as a brand.
