Role & Responsibilities

As a Driver’s Mate, you will be working alongside a professional driver completing multi-drop deliveries. Your duties will include:

• Assisting the driver with loading and unloading vehicles
• Supporting multi-drop home deliveries to customers
• Carrying goods safely into customer properties
• Ensuring items are handled carefully to avoid damage
• Providing a high level of customer service at each delivery point
• Handling delivery paperwork and confirming customer details
• Working in line with manual handling and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the driver with route efficiency and timely deliveries

As the role involves entering customer homes and handling personal information, a DBS check is required. A previous DBS certificate would be advantageous.

Additional Job Information

• 7:00am start time
• Shifts available across 7 days per week
• Ad-hoc work (shifts are not guaranteed weekly)
• Immediate starts available following induction

Ideal Candidate

• Fully flexible with availability across weekdays and weekends
• Available to start immediately
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual

Pay

£12.21-£12.44 per hour
