Job role: Extrusion Operator

Location: Caerphilly

Hours: 8am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday 4pm on a Friday

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Her at Thomas Recruitment We are currently recruiting for a Extrusion/Production Operative based in the Caerphilly area (Bedwas)

Job role:

• Operating extrusion/production machinery to manufacture colourfor use in plastics.
• Monitoring production lines to ensure consistency, quality, and colour accuracy.
• Handling raw materials, colour additives, and blending polymers to precise specifications.
• Conducting quality checks to meet customer and industry standards.
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and promptly reporting faults.
• Moving raw materials and finished masterbatch products around the site.
• Completing production records and following set manufacturing instructions.
• Working as part of a fast-paced team to meet daily output targets.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with health & safety standards.

Skills & Knowledge

• Previous experience in extrusion or Plastic manufacturing is essential
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• A flexible and positive approach to work.
