About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a reputable company based in the Avonmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, where you will be integral to the efficient operation of the site.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move goods around the warehouse, load/unload deliveries, and ensure stock is stored accurately. Shifts:

Rotational between days and nights

Day Shift - 06.00-18.00

Night Shift - 18.00-06.00

Pay:

Days - £13.50 per hour

Nights - £14.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move stock within the warehouse
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care and stored correctly
• Record stock movements accurately and report discrepancies to warehouse management
• Conduct regular checks on forklift trucks to ensure safe and effective operation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety guidelines
• Assist with stock control and inventory management as required
• Work closely with other team members to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• A strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• A proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• A commitment to following health and safety regulations at all times
