Forklift Driver / Cold Store Operative

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Cold Store Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy and growing operation based in Avonmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence looking for stable, long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

Working within a cold store environment, your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and cold storage areas
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Palletising and wrapping products
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
• Assisting with general warehouse operations as required

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Previous warehouse or cold store experience
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable and positive attitude
