Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am – 16:30pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundskeeper to join a well-established golf club in Cwmbran. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors in a scenic environment, supporting the upkeep and presentation of the golf course and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards across the grounds, ensuring the course is kept in excellent condition for members and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the golf course, including fairways, greens, bunkers, and surrounding areas
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers and strimmers
• Carry out general landscaping duties including cutting grass, trimming hedges, and clearing debris
• Assist with course setup, including tee markers and flags
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
• Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable environment
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment faults

Skills

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of machinery and tools is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence is desirable
