Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Gym Staff Member to join a well-established and prestigious golf club. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional and welcoming environment, supporting the day-to-day operation and upkeep of the club’s fitness facilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer satisfaction, ensuring members enjoy a safe and pleasant experience when using the gym and surrounding facilities.

Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the gym and changing areas
 - Carry out regular checks of gym equipment to ensure it is clean, safe, and in working order
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Ensure all areas are well-presented and stocked with necessary supplies
- Support the setup and tidiness of fitness areas and equipment
- Provide a friendly and professional service to club members
- Assist with general duties around the leisure and clubhouse facilities as required
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Skills

- Previous experience in a gym, leisure, or cleaning role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Friendly and approachable manner with good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
