HGV Class 1 Driver - AM/PM

THOMAS Recruitment Group is seeking HGV1 drivers to join our team in Bristol!

The ideal candidates will be looking for full time or part-time/ad-hoc work and be able to have flexibility with days and start times per week.

HGV Class 1 - TRUNKING / GENERAL HAULAGE / DELIVERY

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport materials and products promptly
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods (trucks are usually at 100+ miles per day)
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
• Work as a team player to deliver the job successfully
• Other duties as assigned

What's Required As The HGV Class 1 Driver?

• Valid C+E Driving license
• Valid Driving licence with no more than 6 points (No IN, DD, DN etc. codes)
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver
• Valid CPC and TACHO

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:

• £18.00 - £22.00 ph

HGV Class 1 Driver Shifts:

• Shifts Available Monday through Sunday
• AM Shifts - 03:00 - 11:00 Starts
• PM Shifts - 12:00 - 21:00 Starts
• Shifts between 8 - 13 hours
