HGV Class 1 Drivers Required (Ideally 3+ Months’ Experience Required)

Friday to Monday - 4 days per week!

Opportunities for overtime if desired

6 weeks’ extensive training provided

Guaranteed 40 hours

£20.17 per hour + £100 weekly supplement for working on the weekend

Due to continued growth, THOMAS Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team with IMMEDIATE STARTS.

The HGV Class 1 Driver Role:

• Start times:

- 7am on Friday

- 10am on Saturday

- 7am on Sunday

- 7am on Monday

• Working only 4 days per week (although you could pick up extra shifts either with the same or a different client if you wanted)
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• Max 2 drops & 2 loads per shift
• Shifts will be between 8-11 hours long
• Using manual or electric pump trucks if required

Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Category C+E UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
• Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Digital Tachograph Card (Digi)
• Own transport
• Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
• Willingness to adhere to all Health and Safety Policies and always wear correct PPE

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:

• £20.17 per hour
• £50 per day supplement for each day worked over the weekend

The THOMAS Recruitment Group will endeavour to find you regular work in your chosen field. You will be paid for the actual hours worked at a pay rate agreed at the beginning of every contracted assignment.
