HGV Class 1 Driver Trunking (AM & PM)

HGV Class 1 Driver (AM or PM)

Location; Elmsall

You will be a driver within a well-maintained vehicle.

The Role:

• AM's (Early - 10:00) store delivery to retail parks/malls (2-5 stores per shift) - occasionally trunking.
• PM's (12:00 - 19:00) mainly trunking work to other RDC's - can be store delivery from time to time (85% Trunking/15% Delivery).
• Securing of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle.
• Pump Truck and tail lift work required.
• Complete procedural checks on your vehicle.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Shifts are between 6 – 13 hours.

Requirements:

• You must hold a valid UK Class 1 driving license with no more than six penalty points.
• No (DD, IN, CU etc.) codes on license.
• You must hold an in-date valid CPC license.
• You must hold an in-date Digi Card.
• Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations.
• A minimum of 2year driving experience.
• Be smartly presented at all times and have excellent customer service skills.

Pay :

• Basic: £17.36
• Overtime (45 Hours): £22.57
• Sun-Thurs Between (22:00-06:00) +£3
• Sat Day (06:00-22:00) +£3
• Sun Day (06:00-22:00) + £5.55
• Bank Holidays - Double Time

Shifts:

• Any 5 days our of 7 days weekly - Rota's provided
