We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client’s team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Duties

• Conduct pre-journey safety inspections and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before departure
• Deliver goods to various locations, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle logs
• Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery progress and any issues encountered
• Follow all health and safety regulations during driving and loading/unloading procedures

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Valid Drivers CPC & Digital Tacho Card
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and Drivers Regulations
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when needed
