HGV Class 2 Drivers Required (NEW PASSESS ACCEPTED)

Temp to Perm - Monday to Friday ONLY!

Due to continued growth, THOMAS Recruitment is recruiting Experienced or Newly Passed HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team with IMMEDIATE STARTS - TEMP TO PERM AFTER 12 WEEKS!

The HGV Class 2 Driver Role

• Days start between 04:00 am - 06:00 am
• Monday till Friday ONLY
• 48 hours guaranteed weekly
• Weekend availability for overtime paid at time and a half
• 5-8 drops per day
• 8-13h shifts

What will you be doing as a HGV Class 2 Driver?

• Driving in a safe and reliable manner
• Ability to work as part of a 2 man crew
• Be responsible for customer deliveries
• Be able to carry out manual handling manoeuvres
• Heavy lifting is required

Successful Candidate will have:

• Category C Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
• Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Digital Tachograph Card (Digi)
• Own transport
• Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
• Willingness to adhere to all Health and Safety Policies and always wear correct PPE

HGV Class 2 Driver Pay Rates

• £19.89 per hour (£45k basic annual salary once you go permanent + overtime + quarterly bonuses)
