HGV Class 2 Driver (NEW PASSESS ACCEPTED)

Temp to Perm - Monday to Friday ONLY!

Due to continued growth, THOMAS Recruitment is recruiting Experienced or Newly Passed HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team with an IMMEDIATE START - TEMP TO PERM AFTER 12 WEEKS!

The HGV Class 2 Driver Role

• Days start between 04:00 am - 06:00 am
• Monday till Friday ONLY
• 48 hours Guaranteed weekly
• Weekend availability for overtime @ £34.00 per hour
• 5-8 drops per day
• 10-13h shifts

What will you be doing as a HGV Class 2 Driver?

• Driving in a safe and reliable manner.
• Ability to work as part of a 2 man crew.
• Be responsible for customer deliveries.
• Be able to carry out manual handling manoeuvres.
• Heavy lifting is required.

The Successful HGV Class 2 Driver Candidate

• A C Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
• Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Digital Tachograph Card (Digi)
• Manual entry experience
• Will have an excellent work ethic, adhere to all Health and Safety Policies. Always wear PPE.

HGV Class 2 Driver Pay Rates

• Weekdays - £17.00 ph
• Saturday - £25.50 ph
• Bank Holidays - £25.50 ph
