This is a temp to perm, full-time role offering variety, physical activity, and full training. You’ll be part of a specialist team responsible for high-pressure industrial cleaning, confined space operations, and spill response in challenging industrial environments.

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday | 14:00 – 22:00
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday | 06:00 – 14:00

An additional hour per shift is paid for PPE changing time

Key Responsibilities:

Vacuum Hose Operation:

• Manual operation of vacuum hoses (2”–8” diameter, up to 25m)
• Transporting hoses across stairs, slopes, and uneven terrain

Manual Industrial Cleaning:

• Shovelling, sweeping, and breaking up waste materials like cement, sludge, and slurry
• Use of hand tools (e.g. shovels, pneumatic tools, pickaxes, wheelbarrows)

Confined Space Entry (when fully trained):

• Entering and cleaning pipes, ducts, kilns, silos, and vessels
• Working in restricted, stooped, or crawl spaces
• Physically capable of self-rescue and assisting with rescue operations

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or industrial services
• Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces and outdoors
• Strong focus on health & safety and safe working practices
• Team player with a positive, reliable attitude

Desirable:

• CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent (can be obtained post-hire)
• Familiarity with risk assessments, method statements, and H&S protocols
• Full UK driving licence
