Thomas Recruitment are currently recruiting for MIG Welders to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position with a growing manufacturer producing high-quality mobility and healthcare equipment, including wheelchairs and specialist products.

Pay Rate

• £14.22 per hour
• Overtime paid at x1.25 after standard daily hours

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45
• Friday: 07:45 – 13:30
• Overtime available

Duties

• MIG welding mild steel components
• Fabricating and assembling products to engineering drawings
• Producing high-quality welds to required standards
• Carrying out visual quality inspections
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Working to production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (desirable)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Committed to maintaining high quality and health & safety standards
