We are seeking an experienced Payroll Executive  to join our Finance Team based at our Head Office in North Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be career focused and have previous hands-on experience in a payroll department. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and work on your own initiative.

You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager on a day-to-day basis.

The Role:

• Accurate processing of weekly timesheets
• Payroll compliance for new starters
• Maintain pension auto-enrolment/opt outs
• Download and check Tax Codes/Student loans from Inland Revenue
• Communication with workers to advise and discuss on topics such as Holiday pay, Sick pay etc
• Dealing with Attachment Order Deductions
• Carrying out general administration as required

The Successful Candidate:

For this role, you will need previous experience in payroll procedures and possess the following attributes:

• Experience in processing large volumes of weekly timesheets
• Experience in working within tight deadlines and managing workloads is essential
• Experience of Staffology softwear would be desirable
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail
• Methodical and Highly organised
• Tenacious and self-motivated
