Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and mechanical processes, with the ability to produce precise, high-quality components. Experience operating a laser cutting machine is preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts according to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate sheet metal components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine bending specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure machinery operates efficiently
• Use hand tools and tooling to achieve accurate bends and consistent results
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required standards
• Collaborate with team members during the assembly process of fabricated components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication, including grinding and welding
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience operating sheet metal machinery
• Proficiency with hand tools and press brake tooling
• Laser cutter operation experience preferred
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
