Job Role: Production Operative

Location: Caldicot

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting a Production Operative/repack Operative to work for out client based in Caldicot.

Main job roles:

• Prepare productions from start to finish – loading/mixing/decanting materials.
• Good communication – this job heavily relies on good communication with the lab & supervisor.
• Good awareness of health & safety.
• Good housekeeping.
• Stock check – throughout the year stock checks to be carried out to stay on top of the stock.
• Re-packing – during quieter times throughout the week there will be re-packing to undertake i.e. repacking from a 25kg box into 5kg etc. for customer specific orders.
• Pro-active thinking – this can be a fast paced environment at times & requires you to think ahead where possible.

Skills

• Good literacy & communication skills.
• Knowledge of using SAP on a computer beneficial, but can be learnt on the job for the right candidate.
• Reach & Counterbalance experience is desireable
• Good work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• Good at working in teams.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Comfortable with an unclean environment
