Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for operating machinery, adhering to FDA regulations, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the production area.

Duties

• Operate production equipment in compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
• Monitor food safety protocols, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Assist in the packaging of finished products while adhering to sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
• Operate forklifts safely as needed for material handling within the facility.

Skills

• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP practices related to food safety.
• Experience in food production or processing environments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
• Familiarity with packaging processes specific to the food industry.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and calculations during production tasks.
