We are seeking a skilled and reliable Quality Inspector to join our team based in Port Talbot. The main function of this role is to work within the quality department, monitoring production through inspection and setting of vision systems, auditing and control of non-conforming product to ensure a quality finished product that satisfies our customers needs and expectations first time, every time.

What will you be doing?

• Assist with the company's Quality accreditations ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and BRC Packaging Material Standards 
• Carry out structured inspections of ongoing production lines to check quality against established specifications and standards 
• Reporting of product & process quality concerns 
• Responsible for actively quarantining any defective product that does not meet specification, 
• Supporting in monitoring of new product launches 
• Working with production staff to ensure quality requirements are met 

Skills & Knowledge

• Proven track record of supporting quality control systems in a fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing environment (Required) 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with personnel from multiple departments in the business (Required) 
• ISO 9001 & BRC Packaging Materials Standard experience (Beneficial) 
• Internal and External auditing experience (Beneficial) 
• Detail orientated, capable of working independently and making decisive decisions based on data collection (Required) 
• Experience with 5S methodologies and process improvement tools (Beneficial) 
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Required) 

 Pay Rate:

• £43,000 per annum

Shifts:

• Days and Nights- 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am
• Week 1- Monday, Tuesday Friday, Saturday and Sunday 
• Week 2 Wednesday and Thursday
