Job role: Recycling Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Rhymney

Hours: Days regular 6am-4pm Monday to Friday - 47.5 hours a week

Nights 4pm - 2am Monday to Friday - 47.5 hours a week

Both are fixed shifts

Salary: £12.21 per hour, this dos increase when fully trained and goes in bandings where you can earn up to £14.00 an hour

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our clients team as Recycling Workers. In this role, you will play a vital part in the recycling process, ensuring that materials are sorted and processed efficiently. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail, as you will be handling various materials and operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials from waste streams, ensuring proper categorisation of items.
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any mechanical issues.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, which may involve heavy lifting.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and improve recycling processes.
• Stripping the equipment

• Comfortable with an unclean environment
• Able to get to Rhymney for the described times
