Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional Waitress to join the hospitality team at a well-established golf club in Cwmbran.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming and professional environment. You'll be serving members, guests, and visitors attending functions, golf days, and special events while helping to create an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Taking food and drink orders accurately.
• Serving meals, beverages, and refreshments efficiently.
• Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables to a high standard.
• Processing payments using tills and card machines.
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant, bar, and function areas.
• Assisting with the setup and service of events, functions, and golf days.
• Following all food hygiene, health & safety, and customer service standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a waitress, hospitality, bar, café, or restaurant role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Regular weekend availability is essential, as the golf club hosts a variety of events and functions. While you won't be required to work every weekend, flexibility to work weekends on a regular basis is a key requirement of the role.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential, as some shifts finish late in the evening when public transport options are limited.
