Thomas Recruitment is looking for Experienced sewing machinists to work for one of our clients in the Yate area - BS37. Must have previous experience or sew as a hobby.

About the role

• Learn how to thread to operate a range of industrial sewing machines
• Understand sewing and fabric terminology and how to apply this knowledge to the Standard Operating Procedures
• Obtain a broad knowledge of other skills within the garment industry including, inspection, graphic application, fabric cutting, supply chain
• Confidently unpick and repair garments
• Sew different fabrics like cotton, wool, leather or industrial textiles.
• Make sample garments in collaboration with the design team
• When a product is complete, measure all parts to ensure its to scale
