Thomas Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Solderer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position with a growing manufacturer producing high-quality electrical products.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 0800-1630

Responsibilities

• Execute soldering tasks.
• Inspect solder joints for quality, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
• Operate power tools safely for tasks related to assembly or component placement.
• Assist in the assembly process by following detailed work instructions and diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience handling small electronic components.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as soldering irons, tweezers, and screwdrivers.
• Familiarity with power tools used in assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and maintain quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety awareness.
