Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join a well-established medical technology manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a clean, organised, and highly regulated environment, supporting the smooth operation of the stores and production processes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials and components are accurately received, stored, and distributed, contributing to the efficient running of the manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials
• Pick and prepare components for production orders
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control
• Ensure all materials are stored correctly and safely
• Support stock checks and cycle counting activities
• Prepare and dispatch goods in line with company procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures at all times

Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic IT skills for stock control systems
• Understanding of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
