Stores Operative

Location: Clevedon

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

Duration: 6 months

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join our team in Clevedon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse or stores experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has basic IT skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and booking in goods deliveries.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly within the warehouse.
• Conducting regular stock counts and cycle checks.
• Updating stock movements and records using internal computer systems.
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics, or stock control environment is desirable.
• Basic IT skills, including the ability to use computers and stock management systems.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
