Thomas Recruitment are looking for a trade counter assistant in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.

You will be fully trained on their catalogue of products and supported the whole way through your learning period.

You will predominantly be behind the trades counter but if its quiet, you will be expected to do some picking in the warehouse. (can be heavy)

Trade counter:

• Serving customers and taking orders
• Picking orders from stock
• Advising customers on product details
• Keeping counter and store area today
• Using the computer to complete stock checks and ordering products
• Contribute to sales targets

Warehouse:

• Unloading products and allocating into correct locations
• Picking stock to allocate to customer orders
• Use the forklift (training will be provided)

You will need to:

• Have good team work skills
• Be able to build relationships with customers
• Be happy to be trained of a forklift and use when required

It would be an advantage if you have a minimum of 1 year trade counter experience and 1 year of warehouse experience.
